On 27–28 August, our CEO Jothishkumar Thekkoote and CTO Arunkumar joined German business and civic leaders in Chennai for the 2nd edition of the Indo-German MSME Conclave, organised by SICCI with the German Indian Business Alliance.
The conclave brought together more than 200 MSMEs and industry leaders to explore how small and mid-sized companies in India and Germany can work together, with an eye on the proposed India–EU Free Trade Agreement. As members of the Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), we were back for our second year at the conclave.
Meeting German civic and business leaders
A highlight of the event was meeting Manfred Ockel, Mayor of Kelsterbach, a town next to Frankfurt Airport in Germany’s Rhine-Main region. He invited Indian companies to explore joint ventures in Kelsterbach, pointing to its infrastructure and growing Indian community, and we exchanged ideas on how technology can simplify operations for businesses in both countries.
The conclave also heard from Michael Hasper, Consul General of Germany in Chennai, who said prospects for closer Indo-German economic engagement are at an all-time high.

Helping the Mittelstand modernise with AI
Germany is known for manufacturing precision; India has become a leading hub for software and AI. The German economy is driven by its MSMEs, the Mittelstand: companies built on generations of quality and expertise. As markets shift towards AI-driven workflows, these businesses need technology partners who can modernise their systems without putting daily operations at risk.
During the conclave, Jothishkumar and Arunkumar had in-depth discussions with European delegates about scaling technology efficiently. We shared how Geesesquads works as a technology partner, helping European businesses modernise their platforms the Agentic-First way: AI agents build, senior experts guide every step.
What we bring to European businesses
Conversations like these help us understand the priorities of our European partners, so we build to EU standards for security and scale from day one. Two projects for European companies show what that looks like:
- Enkitek, Spain: a farm management system that keeps industrial vertical farms running 24/7, with local control even when the network goes down. Two years and counting.
- Decotherapy, Barcelona: a legacy system replaced by a new platform in production in 6 weeks, cutting the design-to-order cycle by 68%.
Whether it’s a German manufacturer looking to add custom AI agents or a European company that needs a dedicated product team, Geesesquads has the people and the platform to deliver.
We look forward to continuing these conversations with our partners in Germany.
